Well I got back yesterday about mid-day (just in time to go to school for a few hours) and let me say that the trip was fantastic!
The first day my dad and I went and got chocolate filled croissants for breakfast that were huge but freaken delicious and then looked around and took tours of the Scrip's and CMC college campuses. The campuses were gorgeous (trees, flowers, fountains and vines everywhere!) and the weather perfect so after the tours and lunch at an old style burger joint we went to the Scrip's Rose Garden I sketched some flowers and ate more of the croissants under a tree (the whole area smelled like roses and chocolate after!)
Then the next day I got to meet some of my dad's college buddies who some are (oddly enough) stranger than me! We all had lunch together (though I just had a free cupcake cause I wasn't that hungry and hey, when on a trip you eat junk food ) and then went to the village to walk around and see the stores. In fact we found a store called "The Cheese Cave" and inside they only sell cheese, crackers to go with cheese and a few other cooking items as well as an iron cow with fake silver eyelashes! Then I just went to the hotel to chill while my dad went to a reunion dinner, though at one point when I was putting my room serves outside my door (that I held open with my foot) the class on the try started to fall! Luckily I caught it but not without having the door behind me, close! So, in my Pokémon shirt, PJ Grinch pants and striped toe socks went downstairs to where a fancy party was being (50 anniversary of the hotel or something) to get an extra key.
Finally on the last day my dad surprised me with a trip to Disneyland! I got to go on all my favorite rides (Teacups FTW!) and we ate at the Blue Bayou (great restaurant that has part of Pirates of the Caribbean ride pass through it, for those who don't know). After that and buying myself a new pin to add to my collection of Disney villain and Pokémon pins, we went to the beach with another of my dad's friends and his kids. It was windy and the water was freezing but the sunset was amazing and I saw a bunch of seagulls, pelicans and about 3-5 dolphins swimming just off the coast line!
All in all a great trip, but I do have to say that no art will put up in the next two weeks due to finals. (even though I have several pieces finished)

Big Hero 6 and College Life
First of I had the huge honor of being able to go see the world premiere of Disney's Big Hero 6!
(Don't worry, no spoilers below)
I want to say it lived up to all my expectations and went beyond. Disney really did a fantastic job on this film, from the lovable characters to the particle effects it was overall a well rounded film. Not only this, but Disney continues on its innovative idea of having love come from places other a dashing prince or true loves kiss. Though I have a few small grips, I am thoroughly impressed and suggest the movie for all! Oh make sure you stay through the end credits, there is lovely little clip that is sure mak
Hospitalized
I apologize for the extreme lack of activity on here for the past three weeks. You see I was very busy wrapping up my junior year of high school and dealing with the graduation of most of my classmates who I have known since the sixth grade. After that I went to visit with GoosebumpsFan-57 for a week, but at the end of my stay I caught a terrible flu. I had horrid stomach pains, vomiting, lack of sleep and the inability to keep any fluids down for more than a few hours. I am a kidney transplant patient (I have a very rare genetic kidney disorder called Nephronophthisis causing childhood kidney failure) and need large amounts of fluids even on
Happy Thanksgiving!
Just wanted to wish all my amazing watchers (of which I am very thankful for!) a very merry turkey day!
I am now off to eat more chocolate pie while drinking punch out of a dragon chalice I made, farewell!
